Your avatar needs energy
In New World, your avatar needs food to maintain energy and move around the world. Before setting off, remember to get the HUD — a special in-world interface that displays your energy level as a percentage.
- Find the Info Center in the starting region.
- Get the HUD — it displays your avatar’s current energy level.
- Eat to restore your energy and continue exploring the world.
- You can stay in the starting region without food. It is a safe place to get familiar with the world and prepare for further exploration.
Tip for newcomers: visit the Info Center first, collect the HUD, and learn how the energy system works. It will make getting started much easier.

NF Coins — one currency across multiple worlds
NF Coins are being developed as the shared in-game currency for the New Fayl LTD ecosystem. Our goal is to connect purchases and achievements across the company’s different projects.

How to join New World
If you are new to OpenSim, follow these steps and you will soon be able to enter the world with your avatar.
Create an account
Visit the official New World website and create an account by following the registration instructions.
Install the viewer
Download FirestormOS-NeWorld from the official project website. Use the viewer version configured for New World.
The standard Firestorm version may not be configured to connect to this world.
Log in and get the HUD
Launch the viewer, log in, and begin in the starting region. Find the Info Center, collect the energy HUD, and learn the movement and food mechanics.

What is New World?
New World is a virtual 3D world built on the OpenSim platform and developed as part of the New Fayl LTD ecosystem.
Why does my avatar need food?
Food maintains your avatar’s energy so they can move around the world. Get the HUD from the Info Center in the starting region; it displays your energy level as a percentage. You can stay in the starting region without food.

What are NF Coins?
